Text Box: Reconditioned?  Most secondary metering makes use of reconditioned meters.  Reconditioned Meters are usually between 3 and 10 years old and still functioning as well as they did when they were new. Reconditioned Meters are nearly always better quality, more robust and substantially cheaper, therefore can be guaranteed for longer periods of time than new meters. We carry parts for nearly all types of reconditioned Coin Meters, Three-Phase Meters and Credit Meters Reconditioned Meters look great. The way that we recondition meters at Stephen P. Wales makes it seem like your buying a new product! New? Most consultants will not specify reconditioned meters. New meters have the advantage of the latest meter technology, e.g. LCD displays, multi function displays, reverse energy detection, compact design etc., New meters are smaller and can (mostly) be panel mounted so they look hi-tec in the appropriate environment. New meters can have pulse output.  This is read by a data logger and the results sent to a PC.
